🌲 Forest School Session Overview 🌲
 

🔥 Fire Time

Light the fire safely

Gather around to discuss fire safety and explore basic skills
 

🌿 Free Play

Children explore the forest or indoor natural area

Options include mud kitchen, den building, bug hunting, or imaginative play
 

🍫 Activity + Snack

Hands-on activity

Enjoy hot chocolate and a snack together
 

📖 Scrapbook & Story

Reflect on the session: add drawings, notes, or collected items to group scrapbook

End with a forest-themed story or discussion


Activities may include: Nature Scavenger Hunt 🔍, Den Building 🏕️, Mud or Sensory Kitchen 🥄, Leaf & Stick Crafts 🎨, Bug & Mini Habitat Exploration 🐞Nature Journaling & Drawing ✏️

🕒 Time: 3.30pm – 4:45pm
📍 Location: Woodbury Salterton School, Glebe Field and Forest School site.

Early booking recommended – spaces are limited to ensure each child gets the support they need. Two members of staff will be running the session each week due to ratios.
